Single-Acting Telescopic Hoists or Cylinders
Wide Range of Specifications
Delhoists are available as single-acting multi-stage hoists in a broad range of specifications ranging from 3.5" OD outer, 2 stage 2.3m stroke to 9.75" OD outer, 5 stage with a 10 metre stroke.
Delhoist also manufacture 5 stage telescopic cylinders with outers ranging from 7.75" OD to 9.75" OD and a stroke ranging between 5.59 metres and 8.39 metres.
Delta can also design and manufacture customised single acting hoists for its customers.
How it Works
This type of cylinder applies hydraulic pressure in one direction only and the return of the telescopic stages is by load such as a truck-trailer.
Applications
Delhoist single-acting multi-stage hoists are used widely throughout the Australian and New Zealand transport sector, where they are used in tip trucks servicing agriculture, earthmoving, construction, and food processing applications.
Delhoist single-acting hoists are also deployed on truck lifting platforms used to tip the entire truck.
Attachment Options
Attachment options include Top Trunnion (TT) for in-well fitment and Bottom Trunnion (BT) for truck body mounting. A raised trunnion option is also available to work around confined truck chassis spaces.
Unparalleled Product Life
Delhoist telescopic cylinders, or hoists, are the highest quality telescopic cylinders in the world offering unparalleled product life.
- Cylinder stages are a unitary construction design which eliminates unreliable gland nuts or base plugs from the product and extends its life.
- The glands in Delhoist telescopic stages feature a heavy cross-section compared to inferior competing brands and do not distort due to lateral loads.
- Quality hard chrome plating.
- Precision skiving and burnishing of the stage bores, eliminating concentricity and ensuring smooth extension and contraction.
- The use of quality proven twin-lip seals, wipers and wear strips.
- The incorporation of a flapped wiper that reduces and eliminates contamination such as dust and moisture from entering the cylinder, thereby increasing its life.
