How It Works

This cylinder design incorporates a port in the tube walls of the stage, which enable the flow of hydraulic fluids that power the piston to flow internally within the cylinder without the need for external hoses or line tube.

Applications

Annular ported cylinders are used in reliability critical applications where the operating environment could expose external hoses and tubes to physical, fire or chemical damage.

Annular ported cylinders are also used in applications where the cylinder is mounted on the machine or equipment and there is no space for external hoses and tubes.
