Delta's sophisticated in-house design, engineering and end-to-end manufacturing capability enables us to develop customised single-acting or double-acting multi-stage telescopic hoists or cylinders for our customers.

Delta is experienced in working with our customers with New Product Introductions (NPIs) including:

Matching the cylinder specification to the application requirements
Full design from concept sketches
Collaborative design with our customers engineering team
Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
Perform and document our customers NPI testing requirements

Because Delta can undertake the full manufacturing cycle of a telescopic cylinder in house all the processes are controlled and verified in house. Delta undertakes these manufacturing processes:

Lathe processing
CNC machining centre processing
Skiving & Burnishing
Induction hardening
Grinding
Hard chrome plating
Assembly
Paint & Pack

Each manufacturing process is controlled with relevant tests undertaken including:

On floor dimensional verification checks
CMM dimensional verification tests
Ultrasonic testing of welds
Chrome thickness and sparkle tests
Paint thickness tests

Delta is ISO9001:2015 certified and NPIs form part of Delta’s Quality Management System (DQMS).
