Powering innovation in the construction piling sector

ADELAIDE, SOUTH AUSTRALIA - Delta has today delivered custom 2 stage, double acting telescopic cylinders for a unique application in the construction sector. The cylinders will be used as jack cylinders in a world leading pile driving machine where the piles are gripped, and the Delta built cylinders power the injection of the piles into the ground.

The cylinder’s specifications are a 380mm bore and a stoke of 6.5 meters. Extension and retraction ports were annular ported to avoid the use of externally mounted line tube or hydraulic hose.

Delta listened to our customer’s requirements, designed, engineered, and manufactured all components of the cylinder in-house.
