Hydraulic cylinder repairs & refurbishments of well known brands of mining equipment

SAVAGE RIVER, AUSTRALIA - With over 2,000 customers in 30 countries Delta has manufactured or refurbished cylinders for many of the world’s best known mining brands including Caterpillar, Komatsu, Mitsubishi, Mitsui, Sandvik and Epiroc. As well Delta has deep experience in building customised hydraulic cylinders for specialist mining equipment OEMs in the sectors of surface mining, underground mining, vertical boring and tunnel boring. Customers include Elphinstone, Transmin, Load Quip, LoadPro and John Holland.

A recent repair example is that Delta re-built a bucket cylinder for a Hitachi EX3600 excavator. The original clevis / eye broke and Delta manufactured a new clevis, friction welded the new clevis to the rod under 600 tonnes of axial load, machined and re-chromed the rod to provide our Australian magnetite mining customer with a new hydraulic cylinder at a fraction of the cost of the price is a hydraulic cylinder from the OEM.
