Delta cylinders powering facade maintence cranes on Abu Dhabi's Al Bahar twin towers

ABU DHABI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES - The top-off building maintenance cranes on these world famous innovative towers sometimes referred to as the "honeycomb" or "pineapple" towers are powered by Delta hydraulic cylinders.

Due to the potentially corrosive environment and constant exposure to weather, these cylinders have been provided with 316 stainless steel hydraulic lines and fittings that feature welded connections to the mild steel cylinder barrel and ports. This is necessary due to the pressure cycling experienced by the line tubes cause failure of protection systems.
