Design
Delta has an experienced in-house drafting team with 2D and 3D CAD designing capability.
The current team has a cumulative fifty years experience in mechanical drafting and design and have designed thousands of hydraulic cylinders and related parts.
Our team is capable of drafting and design from concept sketches and equally have significant experience working collaboratively with our customer's designers.
The team follow world's best practice drafting protocols.
Engineering
The Delta team consists of mechanical, welding and quality engineers that undertake:
- Finite Element Analysis (FEA) stress testing capability
- Coordination of mechanical destructive testing with independent laboratories to ensure conformance to individual customer specifications and/or Australian and International Standards
- In-house ultrasonic testing of steel components
- In-house spectrograph testing
- Management of factory-floor dimensional verification checks and reporting
- Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) dimensional verification checks and reporting
- Weld Procedure Specification (WPS) development
- Weld Procedure Qualification Records (PQR) assessment
