Delta manufacture customised marinised hydraulic cylinders for marine applications in ships and yachts as well as floating oil and gas platforms.
These cylinders can feature:

- Stainless steel tube assemblies
- Stainless steel treated glands
- Velocity and position sensing transducers
Delta can arrange American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) certification which involves a design and manufacturing assessment to confirm that the product is developed in a way that conforms to the applicable industry standards and ABS requirements.

Experience
Delta has numerous customers in the marine and offshore sector and have designed and manufactured a wide range of hydraulic cylinders including:
- Nine cylinder models to the Royal Australian Navy's Collins Class submarine fleet, including Aft-Control and Exhaust Valve cylinders
- A range of 28 hydraulic manifold sub-plates for the Royal Australian Navy's Collins Class submarine fleet
- Stainless steel Trim-Tab, Swinging T-Foil, and Roll Fin cylinders for high speed aluminium ships. The Trim-Tab cylinders have velocity and position sensing transducers
- Stainless steel Keel-Control cylinders with velocity and position sensing capability. These cylinders control the keel in yachts
- Luffing Crane cylinders for a floating storage and offloading (FSO) tanker and oil & gas platforms
- Lift cylinders controlling passenger ship boarding walks
